Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the five branches of Chinese medicine including diet, Tuina massage, Qi Gong practice and herbal medicine. Chinese medicine has developed from the principle that everything in the universe is energy (Qi) and that the laws and cycles perceptible in nature can be applied to the human body.

Illness and symptoms occur when the body is unable to balance the different forces involved. Several factors may contribute to the imbalance: inadequate dietary habits, overwork, emotional tensions, physical or psychological trauma, and heredity). The acupuncturist uses very fine needles to stimulate the circulation of energy in the body and to stimulate the mechanisms of self-regulation of the body. Acupuncture treats digestive, gynecological, urinary and hormonal disorders, pain, inflammation, stress, anxiety and depression.
